Accessories add definition to any piece!

Flawless Makeup Face

Minnie Mouse Chic
Love the lace knee-highs mixed with the sparkly peep toes!

Be Bold: Mix Colors! (But keep the accessory colors in the same family)
The Perfect Fun and Flirty Cocktail Dress!  STAND OUT: This is also a great alternative for a prom dress!
Dazzle in Black Sheer and Multicolored Jewels! Great Combination.

I have always loved Betsey Johnson and her fun collections, so when I saw a preview of the Spring 2013 RTW collection on The Wendy Williams Show, I knew it was gonna be good!  Her collection was full of feminine frills and gaudy hardware mixed with nostalgic pieces and print, sheer and lace. When I heard of Betsey's bankruptcy, I feared that her clothing would be lack-luster and generically manufactured; however, I was reassured of Betsey's influence and commitment to quirky creativity when I saw her 2013 collection.  Although some pieces, I would not wear and borderline looking cheap.. Overall, I love her fun and eccentric clothing and lifestyle!  What are your thoughts?  Which pieces are your favorite?

90s Fashion Flashback: Clueless

Photos via google images/pinterest

Hey dolls! Hope everyone had an amazing holiday and Happy New Year!! Okay, I know it's 2012, but who doesn't envy 90s style occasionally?  I had to pay homage to one of my all time favorite films, CLUELESS!!  I absolutely adore this film and all its fashions.  Clueless is the epitome of 90s wear and served as an inspiration for trend-setters.  Each character had their own distinct styles: Cher (rich/preppy), Dionne (sexy/quirky/trendy), Amber (avant-garde/themed) and Tai (reformed/cutesy).  Animal print, plaid, sheer blouses, velvet, platforms, leather minis, knee high socks, feathers, mid-drift tops and hair accessories are all hawtt looks that the characters in Clueless rocked! (I will also be adding these looks to my wardrobe this year!!)  What can be better than a teen comedy with epic fashions starring Stacey Dash, Alicia Silverstone and Brittany Murphy?!  Would you look to Clueless style for inspiration?  What pieces would you add to your closet this year?

Designer Stare: Betsey Johnson

Betsey Johnson is one of my all time favorite designers! She's so brillant and unique.  Her Spring 2012 Ready To Wear collection is full of sheer florals, prints, studs, corsets, bubble skirts, hot pants, metallics and shimmer!  This collection screams flirty va va voom...revealing legs, tummy and shoulders!  Her inspiration for this collection came from burlesque shows.  I would wear all of these pieces.  I love Betsey Johnson because she is truly devoted to making clothes that make women look and feel flirty, sexy and always stylish with a twist!

Don't forget to visit Betsey Johnson stores on Black Friday for 40% off your entire purchase!!
